John J. Byrne Community Center | UNIONDALE™ also raises funds for its Capital Campaign whereby donors are recognized according to their level of giving. Donors begin their contributions at any selected level and may advance to a greater levels of giving through additional contributions over a finite time period (current time period is in 3 year cycle) as determined by the board of directors. The highest cumulative level attained at the end of the period will determine the awarded recognition on our "Donor Appreciation Tree/Donor Wall". The "Donor Appreciation Tree/Donor Wall" is physically located at our current facility at 806 Jerusalem Avenue and will be removed to a conspicuous location of our future new community center. At the new community center "Dedication Ceremony" much will be made of our generous and loyal donors and supporters. The recognition is meant to last into perpetuity as the community members who instrumental in "making a difference" in their community. Thought is also being given to creating a "Virtual Donor Appreciation Tree/Wall" on John J. Byrne Community Center | UNIONDALE™ website to further immortalize your generosity and loyalty to our community cause.
