This summer, June 23, 2010 "Team Prudential" were the proud sponsors of  a "Bike Giveaway" to a number of deserving Long Island kids. The event held on the beach at the Allegria Hotel in Long Beach included refreshments for everyone. The fortunate kids even received attractive riding helmets to go along with their bikes. The excitement of the kids and the festivities of the day made it a day to be remembered by all.

Of the bikes given away, two of them were allotted on behalf of the John J. Byrne Community Center | UNIONDALE. The recipients were hand-picked, one from the UCC Summer Camp and the other from the Church in Hempstead. On hand to witness the bike giveaways of the two youngsters, one of which is a resident of Uniondale was David Greaves, President of JJBC and Paul Daquan Massey, Executive Director of EEYCS.

The John J. Byrne Community Center is grateful for the two-fold efforts of Legendary Events, Inc. of Garden City, and Prudential Insurance for bringing this moment of joy to our area kids as well as those of other Long Island communities. Thank you Prudential and your team of employees who were available to assemble, present and serve the kids in our community. Team Prudential cares.

Thank you Prudential!
